Service within our Union community is also valued to keep us strong so that our efforts at Outreach can be met. We believe that ‘the oxygen mask should be placed over your own mouth first’ before we can help others. Members are asked and encouraged to find their place in the myriad of opportunities to serve this faith community.

The parable of the Good Samaritan shows us that God’s mercy is meant to be passed on by each of us to those in need of it. At Union we regularly engage in opportunities to help those who need us. Soup kitchens, food banks, seasonal collections for major causes, mission trips, housing projects, and disaster relief are areas where our members are most active.
