In June 2012 we travelled to Sawmill, Arizona bringing a camp experience to the 100 or so Navajo children living there. It was an incredible experience for youth, chaperones, and students who attended camp.
We are committed to this community and will again bring a camp experience to the children of Sawmill June 29-July 6, 2013. |
Union ’s Youth Ministry offers many experiences over the course of a year for youth to be involved in service to our surrounding community. We also offer a yearly Missions Experience which allows us to live out the call to "love our neightbors as ourselves." We must first discover who our neighbors are and how our gifts might be exchanged for the enrichment of both communities. These trips last from 7-10 days and are announced in November for the following summer.
