Saturday, April 18th at 9am in the Assembly Room
This Saturday is Game Day! Get ready for a morning of fast-paced fun! At our next Women’s Breakfast, this Saturday, April 18th, at 9am, we’ll be rolling the dice for a few rounds of “Bunco” in the Assembly Room. This game is easy to learn and relies entirely on luck. The winners of each round move to a different card table. It’s a fantastic way to say hi to everyone.
Come join us for a wonderful breakfast with friends. Please RSVP to Karen Ermler, karen.ermler@gmail.com
Please email Karen Ermler so we can let the tour guide know how many will be attending.
Thursday, April 23rd at 7pm in the Guild Room
Vicki Paulson is inviting people who have lost their beloved pet to participate in a focus group to share their experiences. This gathering will take place in the Guild Room on Thursday, April 23rd, from 7pm-8:30pm.
Participants are encouraged to bring a photo or memento of their pet.
Vicki is completing a certification program to become an animal chaplain. An animal chaplain provides pastoral care for people who have pets and/or people who work with animals. She plans to provide emotional and spiritual support to people going through health, loss, end of life, separation from, and other transitions with their pets.
Please email Vicki Paulson by Tuesday, April 21st to RSVP. So that everyone can share, the group will be limited to 10 people. If there is a need for a second group, one can be planned in the future.
Tuesdays at 4pm
Join the Archives small group – we meet Tuesday afternoons from 4pm to 5pm in the Archives Room on the 2nd floor of the Vincent Building. We are in the midst of a multi-year project organizing Union’s documents, photographs, pictures, and more – all the while sharing conversation, laughter and fun, interesting, and often inspirational facts and lessons from those who came before us.
Wednesdays at 10:30am
Come build community through 45 minutes of chair yoga. Seated in a chair, we will move gently, mindfully, stretching, and finding our alignment both internally and externally. Breath is emphasized as is a smile. Modifications are always provided and we move at a pace that is appropriate for all levels and all ages.
Twice a month in the Guild Room, usually the first and third Wednesday at noon.
Sages is a group of older members and friends that meet twice a month for a brown bag lunch and informal discussion of questions and issues that are relevant in that stage of their lives. The purpose of the group is to build community and support by providing a forum for discussion and gathering as a community.
Next Concert:
“Make My Garden Grow” on Sunday, May 17th at 10am.
Adult Choir, UCC Ringers Handbell Choir, and Children’s Choir all provide opportunities to experience the joy of music, teamwork, and deepen your connection to the spirit.
