Today At 1pm: Join The Creation Justice Team On A Walk Along The Lenape Trail
This week’s walk will begin at Tuers Park in Montclair and end at Clarks Pond in Bloomfield. We will gather for this three-mile walk at 1pm near the cul de sac on Stonehenge Road. There will be a car parked at the end to take up to seven people back to Tuer’s Park to retrieve their cars. Please dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, and any snacks you might want.
About the walks: As part of our Lenten journey, we will hike some familiar and lesser-known parts of the Lenape Trail. It is not as old, long, well-known or as crowded as the Camino de Santiago in Spain, but parts of the trail are in Montclair and Bloomfield: Mills Reservation, the Iris Gardens, Tuers Park, Brookdale Park and Clark’s Pond. Join us on our walk together as we connect to ourselves, each other, and to the Lenape people indigenous to this land.
