Come join Union’s monthly trip to CUMAC where we will sort through grocery donations and ready the food for distibution to families in need. Michele Sionas and Tawnya Switzer will lead the trip.

Friday, April 24 At 6pm

A powerful, humanistic drama that deftly explores identity, immigration, and other major post-9/11 issues.” It also has strong echoes of today’s situation in the Trump era with a depiction of detention centers and deportation procedures.  

Saturday, May 2, from 9:30am-1:30pm

Youth and adults will gather at the church, travel to River Edge, and work with other Hackensack River Keeper volunteers to remove trash and restore the river.

Sunday, May 3, from 1pm-6:30pm

Join us for a day of play and outdoor activities that may include hiking, boating, Giant’s swing, archery, crafts, and so much more! Dinner is included. Open to all – children, families, youth, and adults. This is a great intergenerational event for fun and fellowship.

Two Tier Pricing: $25 or $15 per person.

Rev. Leah is super excited about this opportunity to work, learn, pray, and get our hands dirty together at Freedom Farm Community, a faith-based community that grows food to share with people who don’t have access or cannot afford healthy produce. Leah knows Farmer Will and his wife Sarah (a Presbyterian minister) who she worked with at Stony Point Retreat Center in New York twelve years ago.

Cost: $300 (all-inclusive of lodging, food, transportation, and programming)
